Abu Dhabi Classic Trophy 2023 Figure Skating

1. GENERAL REGULATIONS
The Abu Dhabi Classic Trophy will be conducted in accordance with the ISU Constitution and General Regulations 2022, the Special Regulations and Technical Rules Single & Pair Skating and Ice Dance 2022 as well as all pertinent ISU Communications.
Participation in the Abu Dhabi Classic Trophy is open to all Competitors who belong to an ISU Member and qualify with regard to eligibility according to Rule 102, provided their ages fall within the limits specified in Rule 108, paragraph 3) for Novice and they meet the participation, citizenship and residency requirements in Rule 109, paragraphs 1 through 5 and ISU Communication 2030 or any update of this Communication.
In accordance with Rule 109 of the ISU General Regulations and ISU Communication 2030 or any update of this Communication, all Skaters who do not have the nationality of the Member by which they have been entered or who, although having such nationality, have in the past represented another Member, must procedure and ISU Clearance Certificate. Passports of all Skaters, as well as the ISU Clearance Certificate, if applicable, must be presented at the accreditation of the event for verification.
The results of the Abu Dhabi Classic Trophy will count towards the results of the Open UAE National Championship. In a separate medal ceremony, the UAE National Champion will be awarded. Only UAE Nationals qualify for this title.
The Organizing Committee reserves the right to enter additional skaters in each category and limit entries in any event in case of too many entries.

2. TECHNICAL DATA
Place of the Event: All competition events as well as official practices will take place at the Zayed Sports City Ice Rink (an indoor ice-rink with the ice surface of 30 x 60 m, air-conditioned and heated).

SENIOR WOMEN & SENIOR MEN
Technical Requirements are in accordance with ISU Technical Rules, Single and Pair Skating 2022, Rule 611 (paragraphs 1 and 2) and Rule 612.
Short Program: 2 min 40 sec, +/- 10 sec
Free Skating: 4 min 00 sec, +/- 10 sec
JUNIOR WOMEN & MEN
Technical Requirements are in accordance with ISU Technical Rules, Single and Pair Skating 2022, Rule 611 (paragraphs 1 and 3 for 2022/23).
Short Program: 2 min 40 sec, +/- 10 sec
Free Skating: 3 min 30 sec, +/- 10 sec
ADVANCED NOVICE GIRLS & BOYS
Age and requirements according to the ISU Special Regulations & Technical Rules Single and Pair Skating 2022, ISU Communication 2489 and all respective ISU Communications.
Short Program: 2 min 20 sec, +/-10 sec
Free Skating: 3 min +/-10 sec

3. ENTRIES
All ISU members and clubs, which are members of National Figure Skating Federations associated with ISU, are invited to take part in the competition.
Competitors from categories Senior, Junior and Advanced Novice must be entered through their Member Federation.
In case of too many entries, the organizer reserves the right to limit the number of participants.
The entries for the competition must be done via email: events@adisc.ae.
Entries deadline: February 27, 2023.

The organizer will not cover any expenses for competitors, team leaders, coaches, or chaperons.

4. CANCELLATION
Cancellation of the competitor entry must be done till February 27, 2023. For any later cancellation, applicants will be asked to pay the entry fee.
